A pair of weathered wooden rocking chairs with soft, neutral cushions sit side by side on a wide, painted front porch, angled slightly toward each other as if in conversation. Between them rests a small round table holding two simple ceramic mugs and a neatly bound journal with a pen. Late afternoon natural light wraps the scene in a warm, golden glow, casting gentle shadows from the porch railing onto the floorboards. The background shows leafy trees softly out of focus, adding depth and privacy. Photographic realism, eye-level perspective, and a calm, inviting atmosphere convey a quiet, judgment-free space for reflection and support.

Come and chat with a friend while you decide if you need to make some changes

A front porch for discernment

Front Porch Chats is a gentle space to sort through your questions about staying or leaving, especially if your marriage and faith community feel tangled together. This space allows you to chat with someone who has been there and is able to hear the thoughts that are heavy on your heart.

Support

A sturdy, handcrafted wooden porch swing hangs from thick ropes, gently centered in the frame, its seat layered with textured cushions and a folded knitted throw in muted, comforting colors. The swing faces outward toward a blurred backdrop of trees and open sky, seen from the viewer’s position on the porch. Soft overcast daylight creates even, diffused lighting with barely-there shadows, enhancing a serene, safe atmosphere. Photographic realism at a slightly wide, eye-level angle shows the entire swing and part of the porch floor, symbolizing a welcoming, stable place to pause, breathe, and gather strength for next steps.

One-on-one decision coaching sessions focused on untangling pressure, expectations, and fears so you can hear your own voice.

A neatly arranged porch-side seating nook featuring a low, round wicker table topped with a lit soy candle, a steaming herbal tea in a clear glass mug, and a small stack of well-loved hardcover books. A folded, patterned blanket rests over the arm of an empty Adirondack chair that is partially visible at the edge of the frame, hinting at someone recently or soon to be seated. The scene is lit by the soft, warm glow of early evening, with the candle adding a subtle secondary light source and delicate reflections on the glass mug. Photographic realism, shallow depth of field, and a calm, reassuring mood suggest quiet strength and gentle support.

Gentle faith-aware conversations that honor your story while exploring options for separation, reconciliation, or rebuilding life after divorce. Any conversations including Scripture would be led by you.

Meet Stacy

In January 2024, Stacy told her husband of nearly 29 years that she wanted to dissolve their marriage (the legal term in Minnesota). He was an ordained minister in a Baptist denomination and had served churches and in denominational leadership since 2002. There is a long story behind the final decision to say the words, “I want to dissolve our marriage.” That story, along with the time it took to make the decision and the aftermath of speaking those words, is why Stacy has chosen to offer herself to women – especially pastors’ wives – who question if they need to say similar words.

An overhead photographic view of a round wooden porch table set up for a thoughtful planning session: a blank, open notebook, a capped pen, a ceramic mug with faint steam, and a tidy cluster of pastel sticky notes arranged like petals around the notebook. A single small potted plant with broad, healthy leaves adds a touch of life and resilience. Natural daylight from one side casts soft, directional shadows, giving depth without harsh contrast. The composition is clean and minimalist, with warm, neutral tones and a serene, organized feeling that supports themes of clarity, discernment, and intentional next steps on a personal journey.

Occasional emails with new stories, resources, and offerings.

A wide-angle, photographic view of a classic Southern-style front porch stretching across the frame, with several different seating options: a rocking chair, a porch swing, and a cushioned bench, all empty yet inviting. Each seat has a small side table with simple touches like a closed book, a ceramic mug, or a folded throw blanket. The porch overlooks a softly blurred garden with layered greenery and distant flowering shrubs. Late-day golden-hour sunlight streams in from the side, creating long, gentle shadows across the painted floorboards. The mood is warm, stable, and welcoming, evoking a communal yet private space where hard stories can be shared safely.
